4 inch Petzval lens: a few images

<p>decided to shoot a few images with my new? Petzval lens, actually you cant get much older than these babies : )) not sure how old this lens is, its very old but the glass is perfect, the aperture is around 2.8, the cool t hing about this petzval is it will screw straight into a copal 1 shutter. these are shot using a toyo 45gII with a 6x9 back</p><div></div>

Wonderful Post. Those are excellent portrait lenses, and have quite a cult following due to the effects you have shown here.</p>

<p>thanks for all the nice comments, i dont have a digital camera handy at the moment or i would post a pic of the lens, it looks really cool in the copal 1 shutter. plan on doing some portraits with it this weekend, i will have my digital back by then and will post a pic of the lens. thanks again</p>

<p>Very nice how you put these together. I think you've got something to work with here. I'd keep working it along these lines and wear out some film holders. </p>
