joel_covey
New to the forum.
I just typed out a comment and when I clicked on the email notification link just before submitting it, the comment disappeared and I was back in the forum. Is this a known bug or is there something wrong with my computer setup?
Matt Laur
Better to submit your post, and then just click that link afterwards (it will appear there at the bottom of the thread).

joel_covey
Did something since I'm getting email. Looks to me like I have to ask for email with a junk comment and then type in my real comment--which seems a bit convoluted to say the least.
joshroot
You need to click on "submit" or you aren't submitting your comment. Once you have submitted it, you have to hit "confirm" on the confirmation page.

The "notify me" link is independant of the comment submission process.
derek_hofmann
The "Notify me of Responses" link acts deceptively like an Ajax link, only instead of taking effect without requiring a full page reload, it appears (if you blink while it's happening) to clear out the comment box.
Those Photo.net programmers are devious!
