pcg
Of interest, here's a landscape shot I took last last winter. Just scanned the negs. But the atmosphere & the grain is attractive, & an example of what a 60 year old camera w/ a 50 year old lens can produce. This was hand-held, probably at f8 & 200. Metered on an old Luna Pro. Opinions welcome, of course!<div></div>
frank_horn
Patrick- I like this picture. Have you ever tried to sell such a shot to a horse magazine?
eliot
I like it! Those old Leicas just keep on working.
iván
Hi, Patrick ! Thanks for sharing your photo. Great example of what old Leicas can do when properly handled. Certainly this is no easy to do photo, specially when using the tools you used. Aside from the technical issues I really like the aesthetics of your image. Congratulations and thanks again. Best regards, Patrick -Iván
albert knapp md
Patrick: A beautiful photo! Most of the bread and butter horse magazines (my closest friend is a breeder of thoroughbreds in upstate New York) would NOT have the taste or imagination to publish such a photo as they focus (no pun intended!) on close-up photos of the animals (for sale.) No harm trying however!
Allen Herbert
Lots of character in this image from the photographer and the lense used.Has that special ethereal quality.
