Lightroom 2.3 import question

<p>Scenario: importing photos with import dialog open and previews visible. All previews are checked (or unchecked if you want to).<br>

question: How can I quick select a particular set of photos without clicking on every one individually?<br>

I know the "by date" option, and of course I know you can select "all" or "none", the question is about selecting let's say 30 contiguous photos out of 120 photos.<br>

<p>Click on the first, and shift-click on the last. All between will be selected.<br>

For non-contiguous selection, Ctrl-click each selection.</p>

<p>And once you have them selected, click the checkbox on any one of them to include them in the import operation, or remove them from the import operation, depending on the current state of their checkboxes.</p>

<p>Thank you both. it's so obvious! for some reason I was trying to shift-check (in the little check box) instead of shift-click on the photo itself.</p>
