Screen Protector for Canon G10

<p>What's out there to protect the exposed LCD panel on the Canon G10. Given the way we use P&S cameras, it is bound to get scratched. I did see something about a G10 ClearTouch Protector. Any other products or good ideas? Thanks.</p>

Check out The Big Auction Site. Loads there if you search under "G10 screen protector". That's how I got the one for my G9 and it appears that they both use the same.</p>

<p>I would recommend a GGS rigid glass screen. I bought one for my 5D II from the auction site. The big advantages of this screen are:</p>

<li> The adhesive is only on the frame so there are no problems with trapped air bubbles</li>

<li>It's coated</li>

<li>It's rigid so it's much easier to apply. If you misalign it, you can even remove it carefully and reapply it</li>

<p>I would recommend the Invisible Shield. It's easy to apply (no bubbles), adds little weight (as opposed to a glass screen) and relatively inexpensive at about $12 (available from Zagg and also on Amazon). I've got them on my iPhone, 40D, and LX-3. These days I order them at the same time I order a new toy!</p>

<p>I've really thought about using some sort of shield on my LCD but I haven't because I suspect they will distort the image (even if there are no bubbles). Am I correct?</p>
