First Rolls of Ektar 100, 120 Format Film

Recommended Posts

I received my first rolls of Ektar 100, 120 Format Film today. At sundown I went out and shot two of the rolls. They are now at the developer. I loved Ektar 25, I can't wait to see how this new film turns out.

Today I enlarged a few more of the 35mm shots to 11x14. People don't believe they're from 35mm negatives. The grain is finer (and harder to grain focus) than 100 speed B+W 120 film enlarged to the same size. The colors are great, the grain is fine, the process is simple. I don't need 120. Of course I'll still buy it though :D

They certainly came through for us when they released this by "popular demand."

ooh...where did you get yours? Did you order it or buy it at a local camera shop?

I've been looking online, but I haven't been able to find it yet. It's easy to find Ektar in 35mm rolls, but I haven't been able to get it in 120 yet. Freestyle and B&H don't have it. (Heck, B&H is even out of stock of the 35mm rolls right now).
