steve barry1 Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 <p>Hi just tried firing up my EC and the shutter stays open until I shut the camera. I have put a fresh battery in it and tested the voltage and I get the same problem, also the red test light does not come on either. It seems that the slightly higher voltage batteries I have (over 6v) do not work with my EC for some reason.
