Hasselblad warns against using any 32GB CompactFlash cards in their digital backs

For comparison, 32 GB CF cards work OK in latest Nikon DSLR cameras starting with D200, and perhaps with a bit earlier models.

<p>Maybe so Frank, but I find they don't work at all in my Mamiya RB67. Can't get the card to wrap around the take-up reel.</p>

<p>Obviously a sense of humour doesn't come with growing up....at least for some people.</p>

<p>I can't believe they didn't see that coming. Makes me wonder about Hasselblad these days. I love the cameras, but tethered to a computer is just no way to go through life.</p>

That's the way computer technology works. You don't check for problems when you are designing or implementing something, but just wait until you run into one and then try to program it away.<br>

But this does not mean that you need to run a thether from the camera to the computer. Just use 16 GB CF cards instead, until they correct the software.</p>

<p>Q.G.....I will never grow up....although my kids figure I'm ancient. They can't figure out why some of my cameras don't have an LCD on the back....but they also thought it was bizarre that we used to have phones connect with a cord. "Why?" my daughter asked...dumbfounded</p>

<p>The older imacon backs work with the Imagebanks (40GB), not CF cards.</p>

<p>This issue has been resolved.<br /> Hasselblad announced that the issues relates only to the H3DII-50. If you have this camera, there's a firmware update available on the Hasselblad web site that fixes the problem.</p>
