SolaresLarrave
Most peculiar shots, Morgan... It's refreshing to see they are so different from what I'm used to see here. Nice work.
morgan_malaska
Thank you Francisco, I draw my inspiration mostly from Anders Petersen, Marcus Erixson and Daido Moriyama, I think that is why they are quite... Well, peculiar. The unfortunate fact that I dropped one of the rolls on a dusty floor and am too much of a chicken to give them a wipeoff helps that point, I think.

A melee broke out over this idea on another forum.
morgan_malaska
I would be hard pressed not to be - Images are my sustenance, I think it would be a grave mistake to say that I developed this style totally by my own devices uninfluenced by any other photographer. And doubly so it would be an even worse mistake not to let myself be inspired by the work of others. But I do like to think that I am adding something to the visual concept of the people that I to a certain degree emulate, or atleast I hope that I do. And I think that is all any photographer can claim to do, photography is terribly unoriginal as a medium, we are all inspired by something in the world. All we can do is to make part of it our own, interpret it the way we wish to interpret it. Oops, cultural rant alert!

christopher_a._junker1
Nice look. Thanks for giving style credit to other photographers. This forum hasn't seen Tri-X @ 1600 shots in a long time. I like the effect. More please.
