joemikel1 Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009
So 18 months ago, I had the photograpic sensibility of a snail and didn´t even have a camera. But I´d been lucky enough to produce some (good for me) photos.
Today I´d been noticed that 3 of my pics qualified, and even one of them won a 1st prize, in a regional contest on enviromental photography
<a title="Wow por JoeMikel, en Flickr" href=" title="Wow por JoeMikel, en Flickr">
I really feel happy. It´s not only the $$, It´s just that I feel pride. Thanks Photography !
PD: Wich one of the 3 do you think was the winner?
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

beartooth1 Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009
Congrats....It's a good feeling...I was fortunate to have some of that last year. I'll tell ya when you put work out for show and people buy it...it's a pretty incredible feeling of accomplishment. Not to mention it's great motivation.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

joemikel1 Posted January 21, 2009 Author Share Posted January 21, 2009
Flattered by your kind comments :-)
Yes Manuel, not photoshop but capture Nx has something to do. I have to use any tool that can "improve" my raws. I´m not ashamed of it. :-) and as you I think ain´t nothing wrong with that.
What a day for this amateur. At work my mates have congratulated me, and even one of them had to justify my success saying I had a big camera hehehe (I know this has been discused before in this forum).
Really you have been very kind to me. I feel pride to belong to PN community as well :-)
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
