UV light table source

Hello All.

I would much appreciate your collective thoughts on sourcing a UV

light table/box for ALT. PROCESS printing. I am in California so U.S.

would be most appropriate. Size: 20x24 or nearest. Used would be

ideal but will consider any source. Your experience will no doubt be

invaluable in finding a good unit in this country as I am from UK and

no few suppliers here.

Make a simple box with a sheet of milk plastic on it, and install some UV lamps.

Art pretty much has it, although there are some details to be worked out 8)

 

Plans for a home made UV light box are available in many Alt Process books.

 

Make sure you get the right type of UV bulbs. They are not all alike.

 

If you want to buy, Edwards Engineered Products in Texas is a source, you also might look at Bostick and Sullivan, too. Both have web sites.

Contact John Campbell of <a href=http://www.photogecko.com/> PhotoGecko.Com</a>. You can make one cheaper, though I haven't been able to find an on-line source of plans. Anyone else know?
