Shooting an event for a magazine, need release form

for magazine. I agreed to give photos from event for free advertising in magazine and web site. Does anyone have a

sample form I could look at to release all photos from a CD to the magazine in return for photo credits in mag?

Just put the language, in bold, in your invoice. On the front of it. Even though you are not directly billing for moolah you need to deliver the photos with an invoice.

 

BTW: this is an old trick low end publishers use. In my experience and that of others I know, it never amounts to anything. Ask for their mailing list instead.

It may be better to type yourself up a rights agreement on a seperate paper. Invoices tend to go straight to the accounting department, and they rarely have anything to do with the usage rights.

True, but if you have it in both places , they can't say they didn't know.
