ambers-photos
I would suggest Picasa it it free here http://picasa.google.com/index-new2.html or Lightroom both are pretty user friendly Amber
dcraton
Picasa, DxO, Bibble, all have trial versions. If you are wanting a very simple program, Picasa is free and you can get it from Google. It may be a way to get you started. Which Adobe did you try?
Charles_Webster
"i have tried Adobe..." Which Adobe program did you try? Do you mean Photoshop? If so, yes many people find PS too daunting at first. Have you looked into Photoshop Elements? It is a much simplified version of Photoshop and might suit your needs. <Chas>
peter_daalder
Try Picasa, or Irfanview.
martijn_houtman
Depending on what kind of editing you want to do, I find Adobe's Lightroom very intuitive and easy.
lex_jenkins
Try some free demos of PictoColor's iCorrect software. I've tried three or four of their programs and found them very easy to use and effective for basic corrections to fix problems with exposure, color, etc. The interface is user friendly like the better do-it-yourself kiosks at many minilabs. www.pictocolor.com
marcinpalka
Nobody mentioned GIMP yet. It is free, open source editor which have lot of functions. In addition there is a very good online documentation and tutorials. IMO worth to try play with it. Marcin
don_e
"i have tried Adobe but it's too difficult for me. Is there any good, simple and easy one?" Performing basic editing is near identical in any image editor (and they all have some "auto" one-click operations including Photoshop): levels, curves, usm, resample, resize, crop. It doesn't matter that one or the other editor has greater capabilities beyond that, if you don't use them. Rather than getting another editor (assuming you have "Adobe") spend an hour with a tutorial on basic editing. If you don't have an editor, then those mentioned above will do the job. If you get stuck on a concept or operation, the Digital Darkroom forum here is a very good resource, especially if you describe your process and post an example of the problem. tommyinca
Try Picture Window Pro, IMO full dark room features yet easier to use.
robertjewett
Lightroom. TGook me about two ours to "look around in there", then it was bliss. I love it. It's like I wrote it for myself. Everything I want is right where I'd put it.
