Mailers still good?

I have an older friend who is doing some cleaning out of his photographic closet.

 

He has a few hundred slide mailers - both Kodak and Fuji. Would these still be good? They don't have any date on

them, and the fuji has an ad for the 84 olympics...

 

Does any one know?

yes the kodak mailers are ok

Oh, Kodak mailers will be honored only through the end of 2009. Might be a challenge using hundreds of them up by then. But they can be easily sold in the classifieds here, or on eBay, for probably more than they cost 10 years ago...

Is that end-of-2009 deadline for Kodak mailers really true, or just a rumor? I've seen it on Wikipedia, but we all know

how reliable they can be. Do we have anything confirmed by the Great Yellow Father, from his castle by the

Genesee?

What about the Fuji Mailers? The newer ones have a Dec 31st, 2009 expiration too. Are the older ones without that expiration exempt and usable after the end of 2009?

 

Will mailers cease after 2009? If so, there goes affordable E6 processing.
