nevessa
Is there another easy, affordable "web site builder" like SMUGMUG?
bradley_gregory
There is - a bunch. Look at zenfolio as one alternative. I am currently in demo for each smugmug and zenfolio, and while I must say that at first the zenfolio seemed nicer, it really isnt in my opinion. Smugmug has more customization options it and a better general layout for what I want to do, and I think that I'll be going with Smugmug. One note I want to share with everyone - if you do join smugmug, you can get 50% off the first year subscription. That's huge where I come from! Its not my personal referral, but do some searching i google for the code. My code was YaHoO and it worked like a charm. Sure, i wont be getting any referral bonuses for telling you that, but hopefully the community will prosper :)
nevessa
Thanks Bradley, I will check out zenfolio. I did some searching on my own, and just haven't found anything else that "looked" as good as SMUGMUG or was a better value. With the immensity of the internet, I found that to be a little astounding.
gordon_lukesh1
We use Microsoft Front Page with considerable success.
nevessa
I was thinking more upon the lines of not having to "build" the site, which you have to do with front page. I know it's more affordable, no fees, but it does take time to build. Thanks for your suggestion, tho.
gordon_lukesh1
May I ask, if you are not going to "build" it, what are you hoping for? There are a lot of people who will do it for a fee and host it as well. But every change will co$t you.
