fld
I want to use some lith film which is cheap for learning to use a 4x5. I have heard that it can be processed for continuous tone negatives, but I can't seem to find the references now. Can anyone steer me to the data?I am not concerned with the quality of the image yet. I just want to be able to see the image without the fog. Thanks Larry

mark f
Dilute rodinal works well. Here is a page describing the technique: http://tonopahpictures.0catch.com/FreestyleAPHS/DevelopingAPHSwRodinal.html
mendel_leisk
It's fairly easy. Any regular developer is worth trying. I used either a paper developer or HC110 (or both?), a long time back, with decent results.
paul_viapiano
Try Dektol 1:9 for 2-3 minutes with Arista APHS Lith film...very inexpensive at 12.99 for 50 sheets. I use this strength when making interpos/internegs. Experiment for an ISO...some use it at ISO 3 - 6. Freestyle sells a version that is slightly less than 4x5 so that it will fit in a standard holder, that's the one you want!
