seabee1
Hi, just bought an "old guy" A silly question.... when i move the speed to "A"... does that mean the camera automatically adjusts the speed to my 2.8 or 5.6 or whatever I have selected for my lens? I have an AE Prism viever and I assume that the "A" is then automatic? Thanks Chris
sattler123
A means aperture priority - which means that you select the aperture and the camera will set the appropriate speed automatically. Great camera btw.
andr3w
It is a great camera. I really enjoy it. The lenses are great and really affordable. Good luck with it

seabee1
Hi, Thanks Juergen, thats what I thought. wanted confirmation before I started trying it out. It may not be really "Old" but they seem to be lining the E-Bay "Everything must go " sale bin. :-) Its really great to hold.
jim_momary
Hmm, I'm having posting issues ... here's a copy of the manual ... it'll help a lot with Q & A's ... from mamiya.com ... http://www.mamiya.com/assets/pdfs/645/645_Pro_TL_v8.pdf ... Enjoy, it's a lovely beast. I have the earlier M645 1000S and really enjoy it. Jim M.
seabee1
Hi Jim, I hear you.... Holding it in my hands gives me the same god like feeling I had the first time I sat behind a 50 caliber Machine Gun... Looking through the viewfinder makes you feel like the greatest photographer of all time. I just wish the developing and printing was cheaper!! works out at EUR17 for 12 photos... thats plenty OUCH! when one is used to Digital :-(
