jamie_robertson2
Looks like a mirror lens judging by the photo of the front element. If that's the case then it's probably overpriced (?). You'd be better off buying a good reflector telescope and an SLR mount.
mark u
The lens in Canon FD mount, although I'm sure it can be adapted to several other mounts.
awahlster
http://www.canonfd.com/mirrorlenses/pages/page10.html http://www.outdoorphoto.co.za/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1521&stc=1&d=1169756917 This lens was not made for the Chinese as they were made in the late 1960's And Japan wasn't doing business with ChiComm in that time period the only customer I have heard of that has been verified for this lens was the South Korean Government using it to sneak a peek at what was going on North of the 38th. As to the auction itself well since no one in their right mind would bother bidding I guess I won't caution any one about an Auction listed by an US eBay account while physically in Australia for an item in China that would cost Thousands of dollars to have air freighted to anywhere. Enjoy. by the way the mount shown in the second link is for an artillery gun and I suspect the way it was set up for the South Koreans.

philip_wilson
The correct link is to add the www.cgi.ebay.to the rest of this URL. The forum will not let me post the link /ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180294096815 the starting bid is $55,000 it weights 220lbs and can photograph objects 32 miles away!! awahlster
Auction has been ended early WONDER WHY? my guess is it was a scam.
leicaglow
So that's where Hubble went to. That's amazing. How about the f/3.8 aperture on the medium sized one? I wonder if it ended early because someone just had to have it and cut a special deal.
