nicolas__
I am a photo student at the San Francisco Art Institute. I am looking to make 16x20 negatives with a 16x20 camera but can't seem to find any stores that stock the film. My favorite film is HP5 but I have a feeling that I'm going to have to take what I can get. Why is this relevant to alternative process? Because I will use them for contact printing. I know someone knows the answer, so let's hear it.Thanks,Nicolas Block

david_willis
Pick up a copy of View Camera magazine. I recall ads there for film in sizes that large. You might also check Wisner's web page (www.wisner.com/film.htm) <p> DW
george_papantoniou
Try this: http://www.lotusviewcamera.at/ or this: http://www.fotoimpex.de/ <p> The first is in Austria, the second Berlin. They can send you some film, I guess.
steve_nieslony
Photo warehouse sells film that they will cut to any size. It is 125 speed film, but they have had 400 speed film in the past. It is worth contacting them. They will not tell you who makes the film, but the 125 asa film acts like and behaves and develops just like FP4. When the they 400asa is acted like HP5. Prices are much cheaper then pre- packed Ilford, Kodak or Bergger film. Web link with phone and contact info below. <p> http://members.aol.com/~phware5484/index.html <p> Steve
