WWAPD (what would a Pentaxian do?)

A local band has seen some of the shots I did for Henry Lee Summer and have asked me to shoot some photos for

their new CD. Since I've never charged for my photos, I'm not sure what the going rate is or could be. I realize

pricing will probably be a little different in other parts of the world, but any of your thoughts on shooting/print charges

would be helpful. Or does anyone have a link to this kinda info?

Some of us Pentaxians would probably do it for free just because we live to shoot and would be thrilled to get the photo credits but on the other hand...

LOL... I normally would, but given this crowd, I'd have a line of other groups wanting the same deal! Don't wanna throw a wrinkle in the space time fabic... ;)

I have no idea Doug, and I live in Asia, so that wouldn't help you. Why not pose the question on the business forum?

You should expect to at least get compensated for expenses for the initial "shoot". Later, if anyone wants separate prints or enlargements, you will have to compute additional costs. Also, make it clear that you retain rights to all images.

Thanks for the reply guys... I almost hate to admit it, but I realized after posting the question that there could be life outside of the the Pentax group. Currently researching in the other areas.
