tom_schonhoff
I've lost count of the "what lens" and "what settings" questions posted here, and certainly find myself asking that kind of question pretty often when viewing a technically excellent photo. I've found that some of the meta-data is preserved in the .jpg that is displayed but I have to copy it to my desktop and re-open it in Bridge (or equivalent) to see. Can photo.net recover and display this meta-data with images? It would really be a substantial boost to many of us.
joshroot
Automatic EXIF reading is a frequently requested feature and one that we are working on programming.
mark u
Meantime try using Opanda EXIF - it can be invoked by a right click and menu selection on a photo within your browser. This used not to work at Photonet, but I now find usually does where the data are still present. There are probably other EXIF viewers that would work equally well, but it what I use. richard_cox2
Opanda works fine under Vista 64-bit and Internet Explorer 7 and it's free.
