I shoot nightclub and rave photography. My good friend does videography. He did a compilation for an event we had a few weeks ago and people LOVED it. He got approached by one of the DJs and asked him to three 10 minute promo videos for him DJing so it can be sent around the world for him to get hired. He's somehow connected to EMI records! The question is he has never does paid videography and does not know the going rates. Its a LOT of work to process the videos and all that stuff but he doesn't have any idea whats the going rate for videography work. Do any of you have any suggestions on pricing schedule or at least know of any people, companies, or websites we can look at to get an idea about going rates?
