Body cleaning

Hi everybody.

 

I've a serious problem with my F-80.

 

The back of my camera body is very dirty. It's sticky. I think it is due to

dust, "nose grease"...

I've tried clean it with a wipping cloth for lenses, with no good result. I

tried with alcohol, with the same bad result.

 

Could somebody help me? Could I use pec to clean it? Could pec damage my camera?

( a lot of could's).

diluted simple green and a micro fiber cloth.

I also use Windex and a household microfiber cloth. I make sure to buy ammonia-free Windex, though.

I'm going to buy windex to try it. ﾿Could ammonium damage the plastic body?

 

Any body know if pec can damage the plastic body?

 

Tha back of my camera is like a chewing gum. I hope windex works.

 

I've also a F4, with metal back body. It's is like a mirror, for a lot of yeasr.

 

We live in the pastic age.
