carlos_la_manzana
that stuff is so dull. when are those 'photographers' gonna realize that pictures of soldiers/dead people/war scenes/ miserable swine/ protests are so yesterday.
vilk_inc
...perhaps when all these pretty things themselves become yesterday?

james nelsen
I just got back from Tokyo last night and saw the exhibit. I guess I disagree; I don't think the stuff was "so dull". Rather, as mentioned in the Judges comments, they tried to pick shots that said much much more. Many of the winning shots told a story without words. Isn't that what it is all about? joan_s.
Thanks for posting the link - I found them quite uneven. Some fantastic shots, that told a story on their own, and some other rather plain ones that didn't seem to say much at all taken out of context. I actually tought the wars pictures chosen were very good.
