120mm Processing Questions

Recommended Posts

1) Does anyone know of a great place to process 120 mm film in South India,

preferably in Chennai (formerly Madras)

2) If answer to this question is no, does anyone know of a great place to

process the films in Singapore or Mumbai

3) I am new to medium format and I tried to process my first film at a local lab

in Melbourne, Australia where I am visiting, and I found that the pictures

turned out with many white dots. Do you think this is because there is some

problem with my camera, or do you think its because of bad processing. These

dots are not in the same position in the photos and in some appear as a white

spot even, which is easily 2 mm in diameter. Can anyone help?

Thanks

It's 120, not 120mm. The actual size is about 6 cm by either 4.5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 cm depending on which medium format camera you are using. 120 is merely Kodak's arbitrary number chosen decades ago to designate the size of film and the way it is spooled. 120 and 620, for example, were the same thing with a different spool. 220 is the same thing except longer and with paper backing only at the beginning and end. All of them 6 cm wide.
