Help, can't remember the name

He/She was a photographer in the 1960's in the US (if memory serves). He/She

photographed in a stark street style. There are a few of his/her photos that stand

out in my mind, most of the notable ones were people who were addicts, one in

particular with a man and a woman shooting heroin, I think the man is nude. I

can't for the life of me remember who he/she is. Its driving me crazy so I thought

I'd ask here.

 

I saw his/her stuff in the San Francisco MOMA in ~1992 with (I think) Weston.

 

Anyone able to fill in my memory gap?

Sounds like Larry Clark. Tulsa, Teenage Lust were 2 of his controversial books. Nothing like shooting wih your friends.

Could also be Jim Goldberg. Do a search for his book, <i>Raised by Wolves</i> . Maybe you'll find the image.

Thanks for the suggestions. Those two are in the right vein, but not who I was thinking. I never saw anything from this person in color or past ~1970. Any other thoughts? This is driving me batty. :(
