roseberry guitars
Typical!! Why do us guys always have to fight over who has the biggest.....ah...lens? Yeah, that's it....lens. Fun shots Sean. How was the beer? It seems that the Pentax crowd love their microbrew. If you're ever in this area (Victoria, BC., Canada) try my fave local brew, Dead Frog Beer. "There are more hopps in a Dead Frog"...
ronald_moravec1
I thought the Nikon guy was going to check or castle him!

michael_kuhne
I especially liked the first one- two LBA masters selecting their lenses for the day...!

duane_mills
Great pics Sean. You should consider posting this thread on the Nikon forum too. I'm sure the images would be enjoyed in that camp also....
andrewg_ny
I have a similar flimsy TV tray at home. I frequently allow expensive lenses to test its mettle.
garry_young1
Cool. My only concern is that the shots were taken by a Nikon, so they deliberately manipulated the shutter and aperture to make the Nikonian look fiercer!
User_276104
I was wondering when someone's detective work would reveal that we did this with a Nikon D40!
garry_young1
And Sean, the EXIF actually shows that the D40 belongs to you?
mcmanamey
AAAAAAAAAAAAA A MOLE!!!! WE FOUND THE MOLE IN OUR MIDST!!!!!!!!!!!
sleahy73
NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!! Technically Eric took the pictures with the D40 he "bought for his fiance". I would have used my K100D, but my tripod was packed in the car, as I left Vegas today and am now visiting my grandparents in California. I haven't checked the EXIF, but it probably says their mine because I processed the NEF RAW files on my laptop, and I think I've got it set to automatically attach my name to anything I batch process. Anyway, it was 3 days and 4 nights of fun, photography, music, shows, and, of course, great beer with a good friend!
sleahy73
By the way, Eric's fiance thinks we're nuts.
garry_young1
Ha ha! I realized that processing the files on your computer could potentially put your name in the exif, but I wanted to see the responses! And I guess I can see Eric's fiance's point too, maybe, a little ....
andrewg_ny
Eric's bride-to-be needed to find out sooner or later.
cory_zerkee
Hahahahahaha Great pictures. Scot T: You are in Vic? I am just across the water (via the craptastic BC Ferries we all love so much) in Van. Cool. I didn't know there was anyone from out my way in here. :)
toddm
Its nice to find another islander/pentaxian on here, I live in Tofino and am constantly surrounded by Nikon/Canon toting tourists.
