compact lightmeters with spot

Can someone recommend a compact lightmeter which has a spot metering

function?

 

I need it for landscape use so I prefer to have a spot meter

 

I have been borrowing my friend's Sekonic 558. It's good but it's a bit bulky and

heavy...

 

I don't mind to get one which has minimum functions but with a spot meter as long

as it's compact.

The only one I know that might be smaller is the older L408, but not much smaller. I'm not sure if it's made anymore, and it was a 5 degree spot.

 

The Pentax digital spot meter is pretty small, and a great unit.

I have a Minolta III with the 5 degree spot attachment. It's a bit goofy looking, but quite pocket-able. Dimension - 132 x 69 x 31 mm plus the optic that snaps into the dome's spot and also provides the viewfinder. I don't know if there is smaller, but I got this setup dirt cheap, so in that respect it suits what I needed. Jim M.

I'd agree. It works extremely well, and it's small --- way smaller than the earlier, non-digital Pentax Spotmeter (which was otherwise excellent). Not sure if there's a spot meter that's a whole lot smaller.

Not totally satisfactory but the old Luna Pros had a spot metering attachment that worked reasonably well. And Adorama used to sell a cheapish spotmeter. I bought one used and it has worked for about 2 decades. I have a little leather holster someone made for me.
