Response to Mantilla Post

I like the way you presented your photos, David, but when I tried to post a

response it kept taking me to Fickr so I figured I'd start a new thread.

 

I'd say you did really well! #5 is really terrific. The skyline shot is nice,

too. I think some of the soft feel in that one may be due to blown-out

highlights here and there as well as tripod motion.

Dave, I'd assume you use Firefox like I do. Same thing happens to me when imageshack or Flickr is used to post but not always. So I logged in and posted on Explorer without issue. Odd though, this has only been recent and started around the same time notifications stopped working (they are back now though)

I've been using Firefox without any trouble. Are you using the mouse or keyboard to submit your posts? Perhaps the focus is on a picture rather than the submit button?

I also use firefox and i've had the same issue recently. i use the mouse but when i drag the cursor over the submit button, the url to flickr come up on the status bar, and if I click, it goes to flickr.

 

photo.net has also be VERY slow to load lately. all other sites i visit seem to be speedy enough. it makes me think there's been some changes to the sight and they're working out some bugs.

Wow, wierd. I do use Firefox, so thanks for the heads up. I seemed to work on my machine though... was able to post the that second comment somehow. (Then again I use "NoScript" plug-in which disables some of the more annoying javascripts out there).

The following photos were shot using k10d, smc FA 50mm/1.4, flash unit (500ftz)

using manual mode, manual exposure on all shots. No postprocessing other than

exposure correction and the occasional crop.

Nevermind, photo.net didn't like my table of pics, even though in "preview" mode it worked perfectly. Wierd. I'm giving up now ;)

not sure it matters, but i'm using the latest version of NoScript as well.
