vivek iyer
Interesting title and find, Michael. Unique perspective!
orvillerobertson
The consistency of the perspective is certainly different, and the photographs are interesting at first but grow monotonous after a while.
ray .
Hmm, not sure a critique of the photographs is really the main point here.
frank_marshall1
It seems to me that the photographer is beheld with pity or even disgust by his subjects - very unique perspective indeed. I wouldn't have come to that conclusion so easily had I not known of his physical condition. The style isn't particularly to my taste but the body of work gives sense of how this man is perceived by the world. Seeing pity in the faces of the subjects in turn leaves me with feelings of remorse and admiration.
frank_marshall1
forgot to mention: I particularly enjoy the shot of the wedding couple. The juxtaposition of his perspective and the "happiness" of a wedding is quite satisfying. I think viewing his photographs has more of a psychological effect on me . They force me to question the importance of appearance in society.
