Apple Aperture 2 Colour space

Recommended Posts

I just started using Aperture 2, does anyone know what colour space it uses?

Adobe RGB for example.

I'm just getting together a colour management system and I need to integrate

this. I have a calibrated monitor and I shoot using Adobe RGB. Custom printer

profiles for my Pro9000 are ordered. But what colour space am I seeing in

aperture? I also have CS2 for more heavy editing which I have set to Adobe

RGB. Will I get consistent colour if I print from Aperture 2?

The internal processing color space? Know one outside of Apple knows for sure, they don't

say. Some suspect Adobe RGB (1998). You can export out any space you may wish but that

doesn't answer the question about what's being used under the hood. I wish Apple would clarify this.
