natures-pencil
I still use my Leica M6 all the time, mostly with a 35mm f/2 lens. If I have been using a digital it is such a RELIEF to get back to the simplicity of the M6. I have to be more careful as I can't shoot 300 or 400 frames in an afternoon - but that just leads to fewer exposures, but more really good pictures. There is no comparison in the quality of the lenses. 35mm Summicron v. 28-200 equivalent. At the moment I am living and working in Utrecht in the Netherlands. If I don't want to shoot black and white and develop it myself then a pack of three 36 exposure colour print films costs just 6 Euros (I get better scans from negative film than from slide film). The local MediaMarkt will Dev and Print a film for just 3 Euros. That works out at about 10 cents per frame, developed and printed! That is very cheap photography. I scan the best images (takes about two minutes per image, including set up time) and file the rest. So I still have all the benefits of digital post-processing,
