mr. sullen
It appears folks like to discuss and comment on photos more in the forums rather then the critique area. So this was my first time shooting a basketball game. After about 600 shots or so I have only a few that I am happy with. My main concern was finding good composition and also peak action. Well here is one I like but I am trying to get some feedback. So maybe you can let me know what you think. Thanks. kevin_b5
The timing and exposure is good, but the post process sharpening leaves the image looking a little flat.
mr. sullen
Flat, yes I felt this way to. I looked back and see the camera was set to a rather high shapening level. I didn't do anything else post process but a crop and reduced image size to post on here. I went ahead and made some adjustments to see if I could get the players to pop more from the distracting background. Of course now this would be consierded manipulated according to the pn guidelines.
