User_276104 Posted January 13, 2008 Share Posted January 13, 2008 I just tried my old SB-28 on an 8400 and it worked fine. Only usable in the "A" mode with the external flash sensor. The other units should be OK as well. For what it's worth, I used my SB-28 on a D2x for quite awhile in A mode and the flash exposures are just fine. georg_s1 Posted January 13, 2008 Share Posted January 13, 2008 The SB25 will work fine in A (Auto-mode), all you have to do is to set (transfer - excuse my lack of english) the 8400s ISO and f-stop on the speedlight.
