john_lawrence4
Not sure if this is the place to post this, or if it has been posted before (I usually hang around the Leica forum), but this is an excellent blog by ex top travel photographer Philip Dunn:- http://philipdunn.blogspot.com/ Plenty of advice on all topics of photography from the guru himself, plus it's written in a friendly, helpful style. Well worth checking it out. John P.S. I'm not connected in any way to Philip Dunn, but found this blog to be really refreshing from the usual. caincaptures
Thanks for the post John, I rather enjoyed reading it. It help me understand a few things that I had questioned about flashes. I just recently purchased one for my camera and trying to figure out all the features. I am slowly learning. I don't know how I ever got along with out it. philip_dunn1
Well, thank you all very much for the kind words. I'm delighted to hear that you are finding the blog helpful. It has been up and running for just over a month and seems to be hitting the spot - I have every intention of keeping things simple. The techniques I describe on the blog actually work in the real world. You are all very welcome and if I can help in any way - just ask.
