Buying a Hasselblad Projector PCP80

Hi, I found there were many good comments on this discontinued projector. I

have chance to get the projector but missing the the lense and condensor. I

tried to find it on ebay but failed. Most of them selling in a full set with

projector and lens. Here are my questions and sincerely hope for coments and

reply. 1) could anyone help me how to get Zeiss 75mm projector lens with

condensor, 2) is this projector still worth to purchase in this moment, any

other model is superb 3)another possible way for large image projection by DLP

front projector of scanned digital image. What is the comparison in quality?

If you enjoy slide projection, this is the best machine available, period. As for the lens, you

may want to check here (photo.net), KEH, and E-Bay. They do come up from time to time,

but you have to be patient. As for your third option of projecting via DLP, the 6x6 slide

project is far superior than DLP projection - there is just no comparison.

I never new there were projectors for medium format slide films. I was thinking about getting a projector myself, because the quality beats the digital projectors by a mile. Does it do 6X4.5 ?

Yes, Hasselblad Projector PCP80 will be able to project 6 x 4.5 slides. You can get 6 x 4.5

slide mount, made by Gepe, here in US.
