mike simons
Anyone able to point me in a direction for a DIY or commercially-available SLR mount that can handle the stresses of being slammed around in the midst of a basketball game --- namely, by being mounted to the rear of a gymnasium's glass backboard and the SLR in question triggered remotely via PWizards? Any links/info/experience/anecdotes are much appreciated. -Mike

rds801
You need some Superclamps and a variable friction arm, maybe 2 for extra support and safety cables. You might want to get some insurance too just in case somethnig goes wrong. Last thing you will want is permission to mount the remote behind the backboard.

mark newcombe www.mcnphoto
Hey Roland you wouldn't happen to have a shot of your set up here would you? I'm thinking along the same lines for net ball here.
rds801
Hi Mark, Sorry I don't have an image of the set up. But take a look at this. It's very similar. http://www.sportsshooter.com/news/1062 Hope that helps.

mark newcombe www.mcnphoto
I came up with this for netball I'll set it up and post some images. Netball doesn't have a back board but i think this will work. Thanks Roland.
