andrew booth
It's a bad picture of a Hasselblad 500 series, with a 45 degree prism. It's a black, not a chrome model. It's easy to make out the standard 'blad back, and the positioning of the shutter release. From the length of the lens hood, I'd say it's a 65 or 80mm lens. Why do you need to know? ymages
it is Michael Kenna's camera from that video at 5:39 , i'd like to know the model thank you
rodeo_joe1
If that video showed at the correct aspect ratio, it might be easier to identify the camera (and see Kenna's pictures properly)! It's a 500CM, squashed up to look like a Superwide C. Shoot the videographer or video editor, or simply let someone that knows what they're doing have a go. ellis_vener_photography
i think the fault is wit hwho ever copied it for the youtube upload. It is a Hasselblad 500 C/M wit ha 800 CF and standard lens hood. The big thing on top ofthe body is a 45 prism maybe the meter version
michael_cothran
There's no accurate way to identify this as a 500CM body. There is one difference between the 500C, 500CM and the rest of the 500, 501, 503 series, and that is the tell tale shutter mode window, which is located below the strap lug, right where the back fastens to the body. This picture is too dark to see the little window. And if the body has no window there, it could be any of the several models which succeeded the 500CM. For that matter, this could even be a 2000 or 200 series. There's no way to tell from this shot. The prism can be identified as either a PM or PME model, and even there, it could be the PM/PME, PM3/PME3, PM5/PME5, or PME51.Just curious, but why is it that crucial for you to identify the exact body model?
