alan_markowitz1
Hi everyone, I am relocating abroad soon (I'm currently in the U.S.) and I have a bunch of photo albums, all priceless of course. Does anyone have ideas on what the best way for me to package these photos during the move. I'm afraid they may get ruined in the weeks at sea with all the heat and humidity. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Alan.
john_shriver
FedEx or other air carrier, with insurance and tracing. The boat could sink, after all. (OK, so the plane could crash.)
hugon
I assume you have a company who will do the packing & shipping? If yes, they should know what's the best thing to do. Maybe also depends on where you are going? I know several people who relocated from Europe to the US that didn't have any problems whatsoever with their pictures etc. Packing etc was handled by professional movers. Wish you all the best.
