subha
I am using File > Batch > Slideshow creation batch process, where you can create horizontal slideshow for example and set the image size. During that process, i am unable to preserve any EXIF data that originally comes with the image. If I were to manually open an image and save it with a different size, then the EXIF data would be preserved. any suggestions or ideas?
steve_dunn2
I don't know if there's a way to get PS to do what you want; I only have Elements. If you can't make PS do it, you can use something like Exifer to capture the EXIF info from the original files and add it back in after PS has stripped it.
JeffOwen
I use Exifer to copy the data before working on the photo, then I paste it back afterwards. Of course if the pixel count or suchlike has changed then the EXIF data will be wrong, but at least it is complete. Exifer was a free downloaderable program a year or so ago. rainer_t
An alternative to exifer is jhead ... have a look on the "-te" option.I use jhead in my scripts to copy the original exif header to the final images.
