tm_photography
some time ago I asked if anyone had any advice on settings for printing to a Canon I550 from photoshop, but got no response, maybe because I didn't include canon in the title and spelled color the Australian/British way. Can anyone please tell me what are the best settings for getting a correct print from a canon i550. My monitor is colour calibrated. Several books suggest telling photoshop to manage the color and then selecting an icc profile, but unlike Epson, Canon does not seem to provide ICC profiles. I am printing on high quality glossy photo paper. I printed a picture twice. Once it came out more or less right but with banding so I turned up the quality manually, but then the colour came out wrong. I don't know what settings I had used the first time. Please help. I really want to print my photos but don't want to waste a lot of ink and paper making bad prints because I don't know the proper settings. Any help will be most appreciated.
