Minolta Hi-Matic

I have just aquired a beautiful Minolta Himatic S 11 but it seems that the

rangefinder window is out of place please see attached photo. My question is

this. Is there glass in that window in front of the plastic or should the

plastic piece be flush with the camera body? Would someone who has one of these

cameras please look for me. The irony is the rangefinder seems to work

perfectly . Any advice would be appreciated before I start taking it apart.

Minor correction: your camera is actually called a Hi-Matic 7sII. That's a roman numeral 'II' on the end. <p>

If that's beautiful, I'd hate to see one in rough condition!<g> I used to have a Minolta Hi Matic and really liked it. I miss mine.
