jana w.
I wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas of how to make a nice order form in Microsoft Word. I want to have print packages with pricing, loose prints with pricing, and several photo products. The problem I am running into is how to add in an option so the customer can select color, black and white, sepia, or a special effect (for an extra fee). Any ideas on how to make all this clear on the order form?
albert_richardson1
Business forms are pretty much alike from company to company. You can find MS Office forms on the web. There is a good one based on Excel I use that works nicely. Look at paper forms to see how they are laid out. You will notice that the heading, body and footing areas are designed for different purposes. Handling your form will be easier if you enter each item and feature having its own price as separate line items. It is possible to create information packed item numbers that code item and features together, but this takes more trouble and discipline on your part to manage as time goes by. Things change so your item numbers will have to keep up if you code a lot in them. :-(
