35mmdelux
For you everyday Leica M users, what do you generally hit the streets with? I hit the streets w/ one camera and one lens - usually my M6 black and 35mm Summicron and one extra roll of film. Lately bringing along my Domke satchel, more film, and 90mm Summicron. Adding 21mm VC for what I would call a complete kit. What say ye?

elmarfudd
domke f-803 with M3+50mm summicron, MP 35mm Summicron and now a VC 15mm. There's still room for a 90mm which I intend to add in a few weeks. Front pockets easily hold 20 rolls of film.
james mitchell dc
Me too. The Domke F-803 is a terrific travel bag.
neilambrose
If I'm travelling light, usually just M6 plus 50mm in my coat pocket, with a couple of rolls of film. Otherwise same as above, but also M7 with 28mm Elmarit and 90mm Tele-Elmar. Plenty of film - about 8 to 12 rolls of mixed TMZ, TMX and TX.
charles_hess2
Another one with the Domke f-803 w/ M7 & 75/2, Contax G2 w/ 45/2, lots of film, still room for either the 50/2 'cron or Zeiss 90/2.8 for the G2
Rob F.
Pretty much the same. Domke 803 for airline travel. Two Leicas, 3 to 5 lenses. For street work or a hike in a scenic area, a Domke F-5XB and a little more gear, like an XPAN, in a backpack.
mattalofs
The 803 is just too darn heavy. Tape a film canister to your camera strap and call it good enough.
Brad_
When I'm about to go out shooting, the first thing I grab is my Jack Bauer man-bag. Stores everything I might need - including a mini field torture-ops kit for extracting signed releases from reluctant subjects. www.citysnaps.net
len_smith
M7 and one lens: 35mm f/1.4 Summilux ASPH M7 and two lenses: as above plus either 24mm f/2.8 Elmarit ASPH or 90mm f/2.8 Elmarit (current). M7 and more: as above plus 15mm f/4.5 VC, 20mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Flektogon, 40mm f/2 Summicron-M, 50mm f/2.8 Elmar-M, 135mm f/2.8 Elmarit. Plenty of Kodachrome 64, EliteColor 200 and BW400CN. And a hand held light meter, either a Gossen Luna Star F2 or Weston Euro-Master. Plus a few filters. The bag is a LowePro EX 180, which came free with a year's subscription to a photo magazine. Oh yes it did.
richard_nunamaker
M6 TTL, generally with 35mm Summicron (and sometimes a 90 mm Summicron), lots of Tri-X 400 and some slower and faster B&W film (various types). Except when travelling, I'm finding that I shoot less and less color film (when I do it's often Kodachrome 64)....and I take a small Billingham case. nels
A Hermes Birkin Bag in Graphite & Palladium Crocodile or Gold Ostrich, depending on the shoes I'm wearing. The complete strangers that I photograph on the streets are usually so impressed that, without asking, they drop their model releases in my bag.
