sandor_a._feher
My only complaint is at the present time that if I open and read a thread it needed to bemarked some way like changing to a different color for not to return to the same thread ifnot needed. It is especially true with the Classified.
gordon_kraeger1
I wish to second the above remark. Also, the "Everything Else" Forum does not show up in the drop down menu. Thanks, Gordon
phoneguy
If you create a custom unified view, it allows you to choose the color for visited links. I use the unified, as I don't want to see all of the threads from every forum.
mendel_leisk
Something seems to be broken, tho: I went into the customizing page, chose a color for visitted threads, went back to Unified View, and only one thread title had changed to that color: this one. clicked on some other pages, backed out: no change in color. This is with IE 6.0. Any other site I try, links change color once I've gone to them.
mendel_leisk
Ok, I see lack-of-higlight is being discussed in several threads below. Also, noticed highlight of visitted threads seems to *only* work with "casual conversations". Maybe some others as well?
geoff_foale
Under Custom I have eventually managed to select only the fora that interest me and have even managed to get them colour coded. Click on change colour in very small type choose a colour then click on default line. It doesn't work immediately. But it seems that there is no way to remember which items I have visited except the traditional method of keeping a record using pen and paper. Can't find Casual Conservations under the Forum list. Only found it under All Forums?
phoneguy
I have set the visited threads to Bright red. I can look at the unified view, and see every thread I have visited. It works, I could just take some time for the changes to take affect.
noreen
A stupid question: where is Custom now?
phoneguy
Click "Unified View", and it is in the upper right corner.
JeffOwen
Thank you whoever, for putting the colour back into the thread history.
noreen
<slapping self upside the head> Thanks, Mike. And yes, thank you whoever has put the color back in our world -- and not to mention whoever serifed the font.
