Help identify this photographer.

Hello,

 

First off, I do not have a sample of his photographs because I forgot his

name. I will describe his kind of work to the best of my ability:

 

First impressions look as if he used old technology (like a large format

camera)

 

The subject is the photographer himself. No one else is in the photographs but

him.

 

The "landscape" looks like it is post-apocolyptic, though the viewer of the

photograph/art is not too sure.

 

An example of his photograph would be:

 

He is climbing something that looks like a ladder/ antenna way into the clouds

(nothing but clouds, no clear cut horizon...this is why it looks like large

format photography). He is wearing a suit (in all his photographs he is

wearing the same black suit). He is also hold a device that looks like a

sextant (an old navigational tool used by sailors which measures the stars,

sun, or moon and distance and direction). Also, he is leaning to the right

and is holding and looking through the sextant. But what is he looking at?

The viewer does not know because all they see in the frame is the

antenna/ladder thing, the artist subject, and clouds.

 

 

His last name is a two name combination. I believe the first begins with

a "P" and the second begins with a "H".

 

Oh and all his work is done in a sepia tone or black and white.
