notraces
I just picked up a new 7II and love it -- I've run about 15 rolls through it thelast few days. I wanted to know from those of you who use the camera if whathappened in this image is to be expected: http://flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=351413953&context=photostream&size=o I believe I just skewed the film when I loaded it -- but I can't be for sure. Isloading the film that critical? I also noticed that the rolls are slightly --very slightly loose from time to time. I'd appreciate your thoughts. I have the 65 and 43mm lenses -- they are justincredible! bob
Craig_Cooper11664875449
Bob,
Cant help on the image but now I know Im not the only crazy one :)) I just picked up a new M7II + 65mm + Nikon 9000ED last month. Agreed, the results are fantastic although I havent had the chance to do as many as your 15 rolls yet: <a href="
Giovanni Cappai
Bob, One thing that I did wrong in the beginning was forgetting to push the little button back in after inserting the film. This sometimes caused the film to be skewed. It is also very important to "hold" the film with your thump as you advance forward before closing the back. This way it will be tight enough. fwstutterheim
Bob,
It happens with other camera brands too. Yes, you have be careful when mounting the paper leader. The paper leader has to be right in the middle of the spool.
Ferdi.
joobass
I got a similar results when I used 220mm film on a 120 pressure plate. But I don't think it is from wrong pressure plate, I think the problem was that I didn't place the film straight enough.
