echang24
I am about to develop a roll of Bergger 200 35mm roll film and want to know what development times and temperatures for Xtol (with dilution) are suggested? I have tried Massive Dev Chart on www.digitaltruth.com but there is no recommended time for this combo. Thanks, Eric
willscarlett
Bergger's website doesn't have any times listed for developing Xtol either. Have you thought about D76? Bergger actually looks best in D76. It gives good results in Rodinal 1 +50 too. I found this thread: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=002ZYy I just checked the massive dev chart and found this BPF/BRF 200 Xtol 1+1 200 10-11 20C
ronald_moravec1
It does not look good in Xtol. The best is undiluted D76. I have found the older the developer formula, the better Bergger likes it.
25asa
Xtol straight is about 10 minutes. But I tried this combo and it is VERY grainy for its speed. I would suggest another developer.
