forrest.berkshire
I'm having problems with one element of my remote lighting set-up. I have Canon Speedlites and Pocket Wizard remotes. I had to buy an adapter with a hot shoe and female port for the Canon speedlites to hook the PC cord into. The adapters are Hama's with a 180-degree swivel. But I can't seem to get the tension tight enough on the adapter's joint, so that if I position it at any angle other than straight up-and-down, it gives way and my flash winds up pointed at the floor. Anyone familiar with these adapters that have had the same problem and know how to fix it? I tried jury-rigging a rubber band to act as a rubber washer to increase the tension but it didn't improve it enough. I don't know if I explained the adapter very well. Here is a link to B&H's page for descrption http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home? O=Search&A=details&Q=&sku=89976&is=REG&addedTroughType=search Any suggestions much appreciated. ellis_vener_photography
I'd look for another adapter and mount it to a Bogen/Manfrotto Super Clamp and stud.
forrest.berkshire
I have it mounted to the Manfrotto super clamp and magic arms. Sorry, I should have been more clear in the post.
