jay_de_fehr
Hello all. While I'm working on a proper website, I've set up a blog for 510-Pyro users, where we can share data, images, etc. I hope everyone interested in 510-Pyro will check it out, and contribute. http://pyrostains.blogspot.com/ Jay
aeiffel
Hey Jay,
Sounds like a good idea. I'm not much into sensitometry but I'll make sure to report on my results with some samples and basic data.
The developers arrived on friday, unfortunately I missed the postman... I expect to soup the first batch sometimes next week, and should have some scans available pretty soon.
Fred
jay_de_fehr
I look forward to your contributions, Fred. I enjoy seeing others' images very much. Technical details can help others by comparison, so I like to see that stuff when it's available, but an image contains a lot of information in itself, and is more fun to look at. I hope you enjoy the developers, and have fun! Jay
daniele_tanto2
Well done Jay! I have made some notes in quite all my 510 Pyro developments. Now I have the right place where to discuss about it. Thanks Daniele
jay_de_fehr
Hi Daniele. Are you using 510-Pyro G, or the original TEA version? Either way, I welcome your contributions. Jay
wang
Great. I book marked it already. We can archive some of the posts in this forum in your blog and as reference. Thanks Jay.
daniele_tanto2
I'm using 510-Pyro G with Kodalk at this diluition: 1:2:50 In the last month, since the TEA arrived in my darkroom I use 510-Pyro G with TEA at this diluition 1.1.50 The results is very similar, maybe the 510-Pyro G with Kodalk has an undetectable fine grain with 400 iso films as Forte and Foma. jay_de_fehr
Hi Daniele. That's a very concentrated working solution; you must use very short development times. I hope you'll post some of your information at the blog. Hi Wang. I hope you too will shatre your information and some images at the blog. See you there!
